You meet someone, you fall in love, they ask you marry them, you start planning a big wedding. You set the date, get the dress, start writing checks, and then write more checks. Then your fiancé turns to you and says, "let's go get married next week." Wait, that last part doesn't happen to everyone, does it?


Yes, in the middle of wedding planning we decided to just make it official sooner. I secretly (or probably not so secretly) always wanted to elope. I loved the intimacy of it and it was so stress free. We shared a really special moment with just a handful of friends and family and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Party planning is still in full effect and we still want to celebrate with our close friends and family.
