Something to Read. Leave out a couple magazines or some of your favorite books. Set them next to a reading light or bedside lamp next to bed. Leave out a travel guide book or two for your city or state.
Bedding. Sheets, blankets, and pillows are obviously a must for any guest. Make sure they're clean, comfortable, and fresh. If you haven't had guests for a while you may want to freshen up the room and fluff the pillows. Leave out extra pillows and blankets if you have them. Keep an eye out at your favorite stores for sales! Memorial Day/Back to School is the best time to stock up at the best prices.
Extra Toiletries. Keep a few extra bathroom essentials on hand for guests. Birchbox samples are extremely handy.

- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Mouthwash & floss
- Nail file & nail polish remover
- Feminine hygiene products
- Disposable razors and shaving cream

The WiFi Password. Leave a note with the WiFi password or other house information. You can also frame it and put it in the guest room. Also leave a charging cable or extension cord for them to easily plug in their devices if you have an extra.
Closet or Drawer Space. Give your guests a little bit of space to put their clothes and somewhere to store their bag. If you can't clear out any space get a luggage rack. If you have the space in the closet for a small ironing board and iron, it's a nice touch. A little travel size bottle of wrinkle release works as well!
